C.P.R Class Information

There are two different types of CPR classes taught at Prospect Heights Fire District. Each are listed below.

Heart Saver CPR w/ AED - Designed for the general public that requires proof of course completion for work or need. This course covers adult C.P.R, pediatric CPR and choking maneuvers with expanded coverage on the use of AED. Course cost is normally $25.00 per student to cover instructor time and materials.

BLS for HealthCare Provider - Designed for the health care professional such as doctors, nurses, paramedics. This class is not normally scheduled due to the time requirement for course completion. The Fire District will schedule a class for a special group if requested. The charge for this course is $40.00 per student to cover instructor time and materials.

General Information

CPR Classes are held on a monthly basis at the Fire Station. Please call the Fire Station @ 847-253-8060 to schedule or email us @ PHFD@prospectheightsfire.com.

Classes are normally in the evening from 6:30 until 10:00pm.If you have a group that has a special request for a class in the day time, please call the Fire station and we will make every attempt to host a special class for your group.
